Trump, His Minions Believe the U.S. Is a ‘White Republic’
Princeton professor Eddie Glaude Jr. said on MSNBC’s “deadline” on Monday that President Donald Trump and “his servants” believe that the United States is a “white republic”.
Glaude said: “The Trump administration and its servants, they reject the idea of America as on the path of a more perfect union. They reject a more perfect union speech. For what? Because Maga’s evangelical vision of the American civil religion presupposes that victory was won in the Foundation. We don’t need to tell the story of women, Amerindians.
He added: “A part of what we see Trump doing, my dear friend, on the right, tells a story that justifies the fact that he believes that we are a white republic. This is what he does. And in many ways, the White Republic is blurring. We are back where we started.”
