For those who have made a lot of efforts to manage their library of electronic books, the last caliber update (8.9) is there to make your life easier. It may not be a major overhaul, but it brings improvements in the quality of life that you will appreciate the next time you dive into your collection of books.
If you are of the type that likes to highlight the passages and add annotations, you will be happy with one of the new features. Now when you use the annotations browser, the list of highlights includes a color sample. This little addition facilitates the glance at a glance what type of culminating point that you look at, whether it is a quick note or a key text.
For anyone with a device loaded with ebooks, the “Match Books in Library” function becomes a little more intelligent. When you try to synchronize a title and do not find a correspondence, the application will now delete any additional text in parentheses or after a colon and will try again. And for the visual organizers, the merger of books is now clearer. When you drag and fall to merge, Caliber now shows you the cover of the book you merge.

There are also a handful of bug corrections in this update. Everything, from the text of the text collection in the “Edit Book” functionality to the repair of an error when modifying the cover of a book and other metadata on the content server was addressed.

Content server viewer: Improve the selection dialog box to choose a voice text voice
Content server: correct an error when modifying the metadata of a book to modify both the cover and another field

The caliber updates generally come out twice a month, and although not each one is huge, the continuous support is added.
