California Supreme Court Backs Newsom, Allows Legislators to Seize Power from Voters
The Supreme Court of California rejected an emergency petition on Wednesday on Wednesday by the Republicans to prevent the Governor Gavin Newsom (D) special elections of $ 200 million for Gerrymander the districts of the State Congress.
It was the second time in as many weeks as the highest jurisdiction of the state, which has a majority named by Democrats 6-1, had given Newsom and its party the green light to go ahead with their repeat program.

Newsom was exulting:
Democrats argue that Newsom will have the power to cross a new partisan card once the voters modify the Constitution during the special elections. However, he has already drawn this card without having this power.
