Why is Kristen Wiig selling glitter kitty litter?
I was doing a perfectly normal Thursday until I hear Kristen Wiig say the words “Pretty litter of Catton with glitter”.
The tongue torsion sentence is part of a bizarre new announcement to Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Moviewhich is based on the Hit Netflix series. The film follows Gabby (Laila Lockhart Kraner) and her grandmother Gigi (Gloria Estefan) while they explore the wonderful city of Cat Francisco. Unfortunately, their trip takes a turn when Gabby’s doll house finds itself in the claws of the eccentric cat Lady Vera (Wiig).
Here is the thing: I have never watched an episode of Gabby’s Dollhouse. However, I looked at Wiig in all Saturday Night Live has Skeleton twins has Minds of honor. And see her ticking sparkling cats like an “adult adult woman” and an “animated business lady” Vera suddenly intrigued me in a film that I had not even considered watching.
The whole announcement is an surrealist infopmoncial full of sparkling stars, miaulet cats and so many glitter. It’s like something you would see SnlComplete with the breathtaking character of Wiig. Vera is what you would get if you combine The sales sense of the target lady of Wiig with the sensitivity of the chat lady of WONDER WOMAN 1984The cheetah (also Wiig!). Do I know many others on Gabby’s Dollhouse? No. Am I in the expected age of the demographic film? No. But will I have “Pretty Glitter Kitty Litter” of Wiig stuck in my head for at least one day after being exposed? Probably!
