I am a son of a Junkie and a murderer. I worked my way from poverty into blue collar, then white collar, now I am running for U.S. Congress: AMA!

When I was 3 months old, my father committed a heinous murder that cast a very long shadow over my life. Add to that my mother’s battle with mental health and substance abuse, and the result is that I have to fight long and hard to overcome the circumstances of my youth and make something more of myself.

I spent most of my career as a laborer while attending college and raising a family. I eventually made it into a pseudo-white collar marketing role where I completed my degree and now work as a polymer chemist in the Research and Development division of one of the largest electrical wire manufacturers in the world.

I am seeking to go to Congress to enact congressional reform. I firmly believe that all of the problems Americans face today are a direct result of a Congress that does not accurately represent American workers. I support things like healthcare for all, regulations around AI and robotics that kill jobs, infrastructure development like ultra-high-speed rail, a living wage for every worker, and I believe that with Congressional reform we can not only make these things a reality, but preserve that reality into our future.
