Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton spoke out Wednesday about the fatal shooting of a woman in Minneapolis by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent, saying Renée Nicole Good was “murdered.”

“Last night, on the corner where an ICE agent murdered Renee Good, thousands of Minnesotans gathered in the freezing darkness to protest her murder,” Clinton posted on X Thursday morning, along with a photo of the protesters and mourners gathered holding candles and anti-ICE signs.

“Faced with the anarchic violence of this administration, solidarity is the answer. They want to shape America according to their cruelty. We refuse,” she added in her criticism of the Trump administration.

Clinton’s remark adds to a growing list of left-wing Democrats calling the deadly shooting a “murder,” as the Trump administration defends that preparations for the shooting were an act of “domestic terrorism” against the officers.

Good was driving a vehicle at the time of his death, with footage from the scene showing his car in the middle of a snow-lined street in a residential neighborhood in Minneapolis as ICE agents approached his vehicle.

He was ordered out of his car, with footage showing Good’s car driving in reverse and allegedly trying to drive away before being shot. Secretary of Homeland Security (DHS) Kristi Noem told media outlets that Good allegedly “stalked and obstructed” officers all day and attempted to “weaponize her vehicle” and “run over a law enforcement officer.”

Left-wing New York Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Dan Goldman both called the shooting a “murder,” as did Minnesota Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar and others.

“It was murder, pure and simple,” Goldman said of the shooting. “This officer should not only be fired and suspended, but – based on the video – charged.”

Federal law enforcement agents converged on the city earlier in January as massive COVID-era money laundering schemes were put under the microscope and revealed that this fraud could exceed $1 billion and reach $9 billion, according to investigators. Suspects arrested in these alleged schemes are mostly from the state’s large Somali community.

The White House pledged support for federal and local law enforcement following the shooting, while Trump told the New York Times in a lengthy interview Wednesday that Good “behaved horribly,” referring to her alleged attempt to use her vehicle as a weapon against ICE.

“The woman who was screaming was, by all accounts, a professional agitator, and the woman driving the car was very disorderly, obstructive and resisting, who then violently, intentionally and viciously ran over the ICE officer, who appeared to have shot her in self-defense,” Trump posted on Truth Social on Wednesday after viewing footage from the scene. “From the attached clip, it is hard to believe he is alive, but he is now recovering in the hospital. The situation is being investigated in its entirety, but the reason these incidents are happening is because the radical left threatens, assaults, and targets our law enforcement officers and ICE agents on a daily basis.”

Comments were disabled on Clinton’s post – as has become the norm for the former secretary of state’s X-rated posts – with critics lambasting her comment in quote tweets, including calling her a “coward” for turning comments off. Others repeated that she “would never be president” after her defeat to Trump in 2016.

“Hillary, if you believe this, get in your car and try to stop ICE in the streets! If you don’t get in your car, then your message is… don’t use your car to try to stop ICE,” one user posted.
