Chicago Bulls announce 6 new members of Ring of Honor

The triple All-Star Norm Van Lier and three players from the first three Peats of the Chicago Bulls are among the six people who will enter the Ring of Honor of the team this fall.
Friday, the Bulls announced the 2025 class – Van Lier, Horace Grant, Bill Cartwright, John Paxson, deputy coach Johnny Bach and broadcaster Neil Funk – who will be celebrated in a private gala on November 20 and in a match of November 22 against the Washington Wizards in the United States. Tickets in a game for this game have not yet been published.
“Each member of the 2025 class has won their place in the history of the Bulls, because their impact goes far beyond the court, the locker room or the diffusion stand,” said the president and chief executive officer of Bulls, Michael Reinsdorf, in a press release. “In November, we were impatient to cement their inheritances and celebrate Johnny, Bill, Neil, Horace, John and Norm alongside our fans.”
The Bulls presented the Ring of Honor in January 2024 with an inaugural class by Artis Gilmore, Phil Jackson, Michael Jordan, Johnny “Red” Kerr, Dick Klein, Jerry Krause, Toni Kukoč, Bob Love, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Jerry Sloan, Chet Walker, 1995-1996.
The new members will be inducted every two season. To qualify, a player must have played at least three seasons for the Bulls and be withdrawn from basketball for at least three years. Each player in the inaugural class was either a member of the reproductive temple of the Naismith, or their jersey number withdrawn by the franchise.
