While players are forced to endure extreme warmth during the World Cup this summer, the president of FIFA, Gianni Infantino, hides in power.

It doesn’t matter who wins the final of the World Cup of the Sunday club at the Metlife Stadium between the Chelsea FC and Paris Saint-Allemand, the real winner will be FIFA and his Smarmy sycophant of a president, Gianni Infantino. The FIFA chief used the tournament to continue Toading to Donald Trump, before the North American World Cup, and representatives of another host of the future World Cup, Saudi Arabia.

In fact, Infantino focused so much on kissing the feet of the authorities that he has hardly paid attention to the health of men whose magic feet keep the fills. By holding the Club World Cup in the extreme Summer Heat – in the offseason for most of the 32 clubs involved – FIFA has demonstrated a blatant contempt for the health of the players. A handful of matches have been delayed due to the outbreak of temperatures far beyond 100 degrees after FIFA has planned noon kicks to accommodate television in Europe. FIFPRO, the World Player Syndicat which represents more than 60,000 professional footballers worldwide, has long criticized FIFA to enhance the results of petro-dickers on the well-being of athletes. In 2023, the union noted that the club World Cup program “demonstrated a lack of consideration for the mental and physical health of participating players, as well as contempt for their personal and family life.”

According to FIFPro, modern players are already recording gobsmacking hours on the field. The Brazilian phenomenon of twenty-two, Vinícius Júnior (alias Vini Jr.) has already played twice as much minutes (18,876 of them) for the club and the country that the legendary Puller with Ronaldinho. France Kylian Mbappe – Vini Jr. teammate in Real Madrid – had already recorded 48% more minutes at 24 than the former French striker Thierry Henry recorded at the same age. This is a major reason why young athletes have broken down into baseball and basketball. In addition, due to the professionalization of sports for young people, there are more practices, more games and more kilometers on the body clock.

Meanwhile, some of the biggest football names have called infantino FIFA for treating players and equipment. The former manager of Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp, described the tournament “The worst idea ever implemented in football” in the light that the tournament is planned at the center of the summer holidays of European clubs when the players already on the way need rest. Pep Guardiola, director of Manchester City, who participated in the tournament, said that because of the wear and tear of the players’ bodies, playing in the tournament could “destroy” the team’s coming season. Even Sepp Blatter, the former FIFA chief criminal, said about the FIFA club World Cup: “It was a mistake.”

Why would the best world football clubs even play during the FIFA club World Cup? The answer is money. The Total Prix Tournament Prix Pool has $ 1 billion, with $ 525 million distributed to clubs simply for participating and an additional $ 475 million depending on the results. Despite Guardiola’s warnings, Manchester City, owned by Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the Abu Dhabi United group, would have left with nearly $ 52 million just for reaching the last 16 of the tournament. The tournament winner will seize $ 125 million. But the silver shuffle is rigged in favor of the richest clubs in the world, something that the Seattle Sounders of Major League Soccer – which participated in the tournament but are not emerged from the group phase – protest, carrying t -shirts in a match last month, presenting itself to the expression of the “seizure of club clubs”. Grunge lives.

The FIFA club World Cup is a blatant grade. And the tournament may not have even fallen from the ground without an injection of Saudi money. The German investigation journalist Jens Weinreich said that “the wealth and influence of Saudi Arabia has permeated almost all the facets of this extended tournament”.

After the main networks adopted the broadcast of the tournament, putting the show entirely in danger, Dazn, an intermediate sports network, found a billion dollars to buy the rights. He then emerged that Saud’s house had recently become the owner of Dazn Minority. He bought 10% of the network – and guess how much.

Infantino may not be able to properly run a corner kick, but he knows how to put himself in power. He has long cultivated relations with Donald Trump – his tilted, curved, supplicant and shaved head could be seen at the back of the VIP section during the recent inauguration of Trump. He regularly publishes on Instagram on his DJT BFF (and even his son Eric and the Dédéy JD Vance). During the club World Cup, FIFA visibly abandoned its anti -discrimination messaging in the stadium – even harmless statements such as “no racism” and “no discrimination” – without deference to Trump. This was in fact similar (no matter the cause) when the NFL took lettering of “racism” off the field before the Super Bowl by kindness towards Trump.

Infantino then accompanied a cover of players and FC juventus players – the Italian club participating in the tournament – to visit Trump in the White House. Extreme clumsiness followed while journalists asked Trump about Israel, Iran and Joe Biden, while players stood silently there. Then Trump, who seems to be the most awake these days when he hated someone, fucked to slam Biden for supporting transgender people to ask the players “A woman could she do your team, boys?” The eyes of footballers rushed nervously in the room until a member of the contingent, refusing to take the anti-translikel, finally said: “We have a very good female team.” Trump looked at them emptyly, probably not knowing that Italy had a women’s football program.

Remember this empty and unconscious look when Trump tries to reconstruct the 1978 World Cup in Argentina (supervised by a brutal junta, with Henry Kissinger) while standing at Califourchon on the most watched sports tournament in the globe. He will actually repeat this on Sunday, appearing live with Infantino during the Club World Cup finals. Hoping that the air conditioning in the owner’s box will be on the Fritz – then the sheiks and the sycophants can have a view of a melting orange globe and feel a thousandth of what the players, at great risk of injury, do on the field.
