Chip Roy Enters Crowded Race To Replace Ken Paxton As Texas’ Top Prosecutor

The Texas Republican Republican Republican, Chip Roy launched an offer for the Texas Attorney General on Thursday, entering a crowded race to replace the Texas Ken Paxton prosecutor as the best state prosecutor.
Roy, one of the main conservatives of the Chamber which serves as president of the House policy Freedom Caucus, will enter the race with $ 2.5 million in the bank and probably a high name recognition due to its importance to Capitol Hill. The Republican based in Austin, Texas, served four mandates in the House and justified his decision to present himself to the Attorney General by arguing that the members of the Congress should not be permanently. “I was my honor to represent the 21st district of the Texas Congress – the best part of the best state of the largest country in world history,” Roy said in a statement announcing his campaign. “I am particularly proud of our work to deliver to the agenda of President Trump and fight to empty the swamp. I could do it forever and be filled with professionals. But representatives should not be permanent. ”
“And my experience by looking at the Texans to unite in response to the devastating floods from Hill County clearly indicated that I want to go home. I want to take my experience in the congress, as a federal prosecutor, and as the first deputy prosecutor general to fight for Texas in Texas. ”
