Yankees’ Rogers Clemens attends first Old-Timers’ Day, talks Mike Piazza
No conversation on the 2000 World Series is complete without mentioning the Roger Clemens of the Yankees throwing a broken bat towards Mike Piazza of the food.

He said on Saturday that he had “loved” his time with the Yankees, who started with an exchange of Toronto Blue Jays superproductions just after launchers and wrestlers reported spring training in 1999.
“They wanted to do the job quickly before some people occur in the spring, and when I agreed to become a Yankee, I was obviously super excited,” said Clemens.

Clemens launched on Saturday in the first match of the alumni of the day since 2019.
“Today is great,” said Clemens thereafter. “I tried to come back. I was busy, doing things with astros, doing things for my foundation. We have just celebrated 34 years of my foundation, helping children at risk. ”
