Antony Blinken Gives Biden Credit for Gaza Deal, and It Gets Worse From There – RedState
When I wrote on Saturday that the foreign policy establishment was in total shambles, I’m not sure I expected them to react with such shamelessness. And yet, here we are: Former Secretary of State Antony Blinken gives Joseph Robinette Biden credit for the recently negotiated peace deal in Gaza.
No, I’m not kidding, and that’s not even the worst part.

As RedState reported, the deal will see the release of the remaining hostages, with Israel not having to leave Gaza. Instead, they will withdraw to a predetermined line inside the territory, forming a buffer zone to ensure Hamas’s disarmament.
This is clearly a major victory for the Trump administration, which has set aside the preconceptions of foreign policy “experts” and forged its own path. Yet, according to Blinken, they were simply following that of Biden plan.

Comparing the terrible ceasefire negotiated by Blinken and Biden to this one is truly disingenuous. This ceasefire was never viable because it left hostages in the hands of Hamas, And he foresaw no means of completely disarming and defeating the terrorist group, instead demanding that Israel surrender. This is the typical reheated drift we are accustomed to from the Obama/Biden foreign policy axis.
At no time has the Biden administration put pressure on Arab countries to turn against Hamas and end the war. Most importantly, they never put pressure on Iran, which fueled the conflict in Gaza and posed a threat to Hezbollah in the north. In short, the whole region was on fire and it was handed over to Trump in far worse condition than that found by Biden and company.
For Blinken to claim that the former administration laid the groundwork and showed the way forward is laughable. But he hadn’t yet reached his peak. This came later in his thread when he demanded the creation of a Palestinian state.

This absolute clown. If you’ve been following this issue for a while, you’ll understand how infuriating it is. The foreign policy establishment has insisted for decades that you can never win Arab buy-in, defeat Hamas, neutralize Hezbollah, and rein in Iran without giving the Gaza terrorists a state. This question was treated as the key to everything, becoming fundamentally a tenet of faith and a bludgeon with which to beat Israel. Trump stepped in and proved them all wrong, securing the Abraham Accords and ending the war in Gaza by marginalize the problem, and yet they are always stating that a Palestinian state must be created.
Americans should be very grateful that no one listens to these overeducated idiots anymore. The arsonists do not have the opportunity to wag their fingers and lecture the firefighters who extinguished their fires. They certainly can’t take credit for it. The foreign policy establishment is a joke and should be treated as such.
