Woman seen in Coldplay kiss cam video resigns from Astronomer

The woman seen in the viral video of a couple trying to hide after being presented on a giant “Kiss Cam” screen during a ColdPlay concert last week resigned from her position at Data Company Astronome.
Kristin Cabot resigned from his post as administrator of the astronomer, the company based in New York said on Thursday in a statement.
Cabot did not respond to a request for comments.
Online users have identified his CEO and his astronomer Andy Byron as being in the video. The company said on Saturday that Byron had resigned.
Cabot and Byron catapulted international renown last week after Chris Martin, the main singer of Coldplay, called them for hiding their faces once they were taken in a Kiss camera during a Massachusetts program, emitted by assuming that they were either shy or could have had a connection.
A video of the moment made online rounds and has become viral on X and Tiktok. Internet sleuths almost immediately identified the man and the woman in the clip.
Friday, the astronomer said that his CEO had been put on leave and that he was investigating at the viral moment.
Byron’s resignation followed the next day. The company has appointed the co-founder and product manager Pete Dejoy as its interim CEO.
Byron did not respond to requests for comments from NBC News.
Dejoy said on Monday that the astronomer had paid an “unusual and surreal” attention since the Coldplay Show launched two members of his C Suite C in the Zeitgeist.
“The spotlights were unusual and surreal for our team and, although I would never have wanted this to happen like that, the astronomer is now a familiar name,” he wrote on Linkedin.
When Martin entered the “Kiss Cam” part of the show on Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin, he was sure to give spectators a cheeky warning in an apparent attempt to avoid the annoying moment earlier in the week.
