College Football Playoff schedule 2025: CFP dates, times, matchups and results

The first weekend of the College Football Playoff is over, and we’ve narrowed the number of teams still alive for a national title from 12 to eight.
No. 8 Alabama started the first-round weekend Friday with a bang, erasing a 17-0 deficit to stun No. 9 Oklahoma, 34-24. The first road victory in College Football Playoff history earned the Crimson Tide a date with No. 1 Indiana in the Rose Bowl on New Year’s Day.
No. 10 Miami got things going for the road teams Saturday with a 10-3 win over Texas A&M. The Hurricanes kept the Aggies out of the end zone and sealed the game with a last-minute interception to win a matchup with No. 2 Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl.
This is where the road teams’ luck changed. Ole Miss throttled U.S. champion Tulane for the second time this season, rolling to a 41-10 victory that got the Pete Golding era off to a flying start.
The nightcap followed a similar script, as Oregon made light of it on offense in a 51-34 win over James Madison. The Ducks scored on their first five possessions and never looked back.
Ole Miss will host a rematch against Georgia in the Sugar Bowl – the only team to beat the Rebels during the regular season. Oregon will face Texas Tech in the Orange Bowl in a game featuring two of college football’s “new money” programs.
Below, you’ll find all the viewing information for every game, from the four first-round games played on campus to the CFP National Championship.
