The culmination of the weekend is Oregon’s n ° 6 trip to No. 3 Penn State in a Big Ten Championship match in 2024. The Ducks are considering a second consecutive conference title while the Nittany Lions are trying to unravel and win the League for the first time in almost a decade.
Elsewhere, the SEC will see a few very hard -hitting clashes while n ° 13, Ole Miss, welcomes the long -standing rival of the LSU and Georgia n ° 5, seeks to take revenge on Alabama n ° 17. Even teams classified as the No. 1 of Ohio State and N ° 22 Notre Dame have difficult travels in front of adversaries outside the top 25.

The best games
N ° 21 USC at n ° 23 Illinois – Midi on Fox, FUBOTV (Try for free): Two programs that quickly go into different directions. The USC has stolen under the radar entering the 2025 season and, although it has not yet recorded a truly marked victory, the Trojan horses have taken care of the business so far and are already 2-0 in game Big Ten. The Illinois, meanwhile, cleaned up in his non-conference, but struck a brick wall when the Big Ten game started against Indiana. The top 10 fight previously Illini dropped by 63-10, putting a former promising campaign on the precipice of collapsing.
N ° 22 Notre Dame in Arkansas, – Midi on ABC, FUBOTV (Try for free): It is still at the start of the season to call the games of “essential” – in particular in the era of the playoffs of university football – but Notre Dame has no margin of error at this stage. This is what happens when you start the season with two consecutive defeats against the opponents classified by four combined points. The Arkansas has indeed left the race for the playoffs. For the moment, it feels like the razors are Play for the work of coach Sam Pittman.
N ° 1 Ohio State in Washington – 3:30 p.m. on CBS, CBSSports.com, CBS Sports App, Paramount + Premium: Ohio State is still Ohio State. Buckeyes recorded one of the most impressive victories of the season by lowering Texas at home. Defense has not lost a step despite the loss of large starters and the new quarter-Arrière Julian Sayin seems comfortable to throw the best group of receivers in the country. Washington will be a unique challenge. It will be the first road trial of the year of Ohio State, and the Husky stadium is not an easy place to waltz. The Huskies are also punctuated by an offensive trio outside competition of the quarter Demond Williams, the ball carrier Jonah Coleman and the wide receiver Denzel Boston. They could stretch this Buckeye defense.
N ° 4 LSU at n ° 13 Ole Miss – 3.30 p.m. on ABC, FUBOTV (Try for free): LSU, despite its noble classification, has not fully impressed so far. His opening victory of the season against Clemson aged as milk and he made his way to victories against a competition outdated like Louisiana Tech and Florida. Although the offense is, surprisingly, lagging behind – especially in the field – the second year coordinator Blake Baker has the defense better than she did under Brian Kelly. Ole Miss is a different animal, especially if the quarter-tree Trinidad Chambliss plays. It has been implemented in the past two weeks due to an injury to the Austin Simmons pre-season starter and looked at a whole competitor of the Heisman trophy while directing the rebels offensive.
N ° 6 Oregon at n ° 3 Penn State – 7:30 p.m. on NBC, FUBOTV (Try for free): Oregon looks like a legitimate competitor of Big Ten once again. Until now, the Ducks have sailed against a fairly easy calendar while answering questions about the quarter Dante Moore and the position of the wide receiver. They have not yet played a team near the caliber of Penn State. It is also a “white” for Nittany Lions, which means that the atmosphere inside the Beaver stadium will be reached up to 11.
N ° 17 Alabama at n ° 5 Georgia – 7:30 p.m. on ABC, FUBOTV (Try for free): Alabama has done an excellent rallying job of its abyssal defeat of week 1 against Florida’s state. Can the crimson tide maintain this momentum on the modern hegemonic power of the dry? Kalen Deboer amazed the Bulldogs in his first year in Alabama before things collapsed later in the year. Georgia has already shown its ready to compete on the national scene. The Bulldogs release a bye, but the previous week, they took the road and survived a good team from Tennessee in overtime.
