Drake London snubbed in ESPN's WR rankings despite breakout season
Atlanta Falcons have the impression of having a star receiver in Drake London, and the statistics seem to support this. After playing with the districts of companies Marcus Mariota, Desmond Ridder and Taylor Heinicke during his first two NFL seasons, London broke out in 2024 with an improved QB game.
The old choice of TOP-10 finished fourth under total reception yards (1,271), and tied for the ninth of the two catches (100) and the affected (9). However, London still does not have much recognition around the NFL.
Jeremy Fowler of ESPN interviewed managers, coaches and scouts to classify the 10 best receivers entering the 2025 season. Not only was London left from the list, but he did not even get a sign as one of the six honorable mentions. In fact, third -year Wideout Falcons have not received a single vote despite its season in small groups.
For reference, 26 large receivers received at least one vote, but only three players finished with more yards than London in 2024. Here are the other receivers to win votes in the ESPN survey:
Devonta Smith (Philadelphia Eagles), Ladd McConkey (Los Angeles Chargers), Jaxon Smith-Njigba (Seattle Seahawks), Jameson Williams (Detroit Lions), Dj Moore (Chicago Bears), Chris Godwin (Tampa Bay Buccaneers), George Pickens (Dallas Cowboys), Calvin Ridley (Tennessee Titans), Jaylen Waddle (Miami Dolphins), Courtland Sutton (Denver Broncos) – ESPN survey on leaders, coaches and scouts

London is about to continue climbing in 2025, Michael Penix Jr. taking over in the quarter-arre. The two connected for 10 catches, 187 reception yards and two affected in the final of the 2024 Atlanta season.
