Copilot is coming to cars — and so are Teams calls

What’s worse, being stuck in traffic or on another interminable call from Microsoft teams? ¿Por qué no los dos? Mercedes is associated with Microsoft to allow you to take calls from teams on the move – and also talks about adding Microsoft Copilot as luxury cars.
Microsoft and Mercedes-Benz said on Wednesday that the new Mercedes CLA could draw from an integrated camera and give drivers access to a meeting of meetings for the teams. In one way or another, Mercedes also includes Microsoft Intune inside the car, so workers will also be able to access data from private companies.
Mercedes does this part of what she calls Mbux, the user experience of Mercedes-Benz. Microsoft and Mercedes are planning to implement new intutinous improvements and teams as part of an MBUX 4.0 upgrade this summer.
The integration of Microsoft teams, however, could be the most useful or most dystopian upgrade. Microsoft and Mercedes say that you can use the camera by car to talk to partners or subordinates, which allows them to see you while you are sailing on the highway in comfort.
Fortunately, technology is deployed with an eye on security. “To minimize distraction and maximize security during driving, the meeting video flow goes automatically as soon as the camera is activated,” said companies. “As a result, the driver will never see shared screens or slides – and the camera can be deactivated at any time.”

Mercedes also integrates the cat into its pilot interface, so you can dictate cats with contacts and consult your next calendar via a “Next Meetings” function.
Copilot arrives in cars
Microsoft and Mercedes also work together to bring the co -pilot to vehicles, although the two do not say when.
“Mercedes – Benz and Microsoft also work together to integrate Microsoft 365 Copilot into the last vehicles,” said the two companies. “It will be one of the first applications in the world of this kind in a car and will help users prepare for meetings to come using advanced AI. Using vocal prompts, pilots can summarize emails, recover or question the preferences and details of customers, and manage daily tasks without distraction.
Microsoft has already struggled to provide its services in the car, Microsoft Sync feeding the first versions of the Ford Sync entertainment and communication system. Since then, Android Auto and the Apple Carplay have provided alternatives to Ford entertainment systems.
CLA 2025 starts at $ 45,550 and rises to $ 54,350, according to Car and driver. To activate the new MBUX features, you will need an active entertainment package as well as the subscription, which apparently varies depending on the region and the location.
