Cops searching for trio who slashed, beat man at Bronx subway station
The cops are looking for three men who viciously attacked a 42 -year -old man while waiting for the train at a Bronx metro station, police announced on Friday.
The victim stood on the platform while waiting for train n ° 4 north to 161st St. Yankee Stadium Subway Station around 8 p.m. Wednesday when he argued with three men he did not know, police said. One of the suspects cut him with a knife on the left abdomen, the right eye and the left side of his face, the police said.
Then, the other two suspects began to strike and kick the victim before jumping in a train north and disappearing, said cops.
EMS transported the victim to Lincoln Hospital in a stable state. He should recover.
The attack occurred during a particularly bloody week in the Bronx, during which five people were killed and a 17 -year -old girl cling to life after separate fire over a period of six days.
Earlier Wednesday, a man fatally killed the superintendent of his building on College Ave. In Morrisania around 8:30 am, according to the police. Two others were also injured in this shooting, which was on an argument in progress on access to the backyard, said the cops.
