Country More Proud Right Now than in Many, Many Years’
Before President Donald Trump’s signature ceremony for One Big Beautiful Bill, an overview featuring a B-2 bomber and two F-35 took place in honor of American military staff, including those involved in Operation Midnight Hammer.
The show marked a turning point in national morale and military prestige, Trump said a few moments later in an address that highlighted American pride, enrollment increases, developments in foreign policy and recent military success.
“It’s a show, especially after what happened a week ago, when you look at this big and magnificent plane and the others …, it was an incredible mission. I think I can say very proudly, and I don’t have to quote polls, that our country is more proud at this moment that it has been for many years.”
Trump celebrated the sharp increase in enrollment numbers as a sign of restored confidence in the army:
“Our soldiers are now the most sought after work there has never been. A year ago, people did not want to join our soldiers. They did not want to join our police, our firefighters, they did not want to join anything with our country,” he said /
“And now the enrollment is at a record of all time. We are excited. We are full.”
He also underlined his recent trip abroad as an additional proof of the growing world stature in America:
I would say that I just left NATO, where we had great experience. They agreed to bring closer to a dollar billion per year. They went from less than 2% to 5% and no one thought it was possible. And they told me very strongly, the leaders of a large part of the world – the people respected all – a year ago, your country was dead, and now you have the warmest country in the world.
Trump added: “So it’s like that, and that’s how we love it, and it will only warm up. I promise you.”
After the air tribute, Trump expressed his gratitude to the military and reaffirmed a feeling of national unity.

Trump then turned to the subject of Operation Midnight Hammer, calling him one of the most successful military strikes in history.
