Tennessee murder suspect Austin Drummond, accused of killing 4 family members, captured after weeklong manhunt

A man suspected of Kill four family members In Tennessee was captured, the authorities said. The arrest of Austin Drummond ended a man hunt that started a week ago on Tuesday morning.
Drummond, 28, was accused of four first degree murder leaders and less accusations in the killings of the four parents.
The authorities identified the victims as Cortney Rose, 38 years old; Adrianna Williams, 20 years old; Braydon Williams, 15, and James Matthew Wilson, 21. Director of Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, David Rausch, told journalists at a press conference on Tuesday that the suspect’s girlfriend was linked to the victims. Rausch added that he was unable to speak of a possible reason for the killings, which are still under investigation.
“This is in no way done,” said Rausch. “It’s just that we are now able to switch to the next phase.”
Rausch did not say where the suspect was.
Before Tuesday’s arrest, Jackson police, Tennessee, received several calls reporting the suspect’s observations just after 8 a.m., and the police responded to the region, Jackson’s police chief Thom Corley told journalists. Another observation was reported around 8:57 a.m. and the suspect was arrested at 9:05 a.m.
“They were there in the right place and reacted immediately,” said Corley.
The police chief said the suspect remained in a vacant building. No officer was injured during the arrest, and the suspect was not armed when he was arrested, said Corley. Rausch said a few cannons had been recovered, but he couldn’t say if they were used in the killings.
Investigators sought more possible evidence in the case, and Rausch urged people to contact the authorities if they see something that can be linked to the investigation.
People were invited to be cautious when the authorities were looking for the suspect, warning that he was armed and dangerous and offering a reward that increased to $ 32,500 over the research. The arrest intervened after Jackson police published recent surveillance video sequences on Monday carrying what the authorities said they were a rifle.

The investigation into murders began after a little girl in a car seat was abandoned in a courtyard before last week. Rose was the mother of Braydon Williams and Adrianna Williams, who was in a relationship with Wilson, reported the affiliate of CBS WTVF-TV.
“There is a child who has lost not only parents but lost a grandparent, an uncle,” Danny Goodman district prosecutor told WTVF-TV.
The Sheriff of Dyer County, Jeff Box, told journalists on Tuesday that the baby was “safe, healthy and well taken care of”.
During human hunting, three people were arrested and accused of being accessories afterwards.
