Darrell Issa Appears to Flee to Building Roof to Avoid Protesters – Mother Jones

Representative Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) Was seen to take refuge on the roof of his office building in Vista, California on Tuesday, taking photos of angry voters who had gathered below to protest the Congress voting file. The incident comes before a long -awaited meeting of the Town Hall this Saturday at San Juan High School, where the member of the nine -term congress should face a hostile crowd because of his support for various Trump administration policies, including the republican plan to repeal and replace Obamacare.
Democrat Mike Levin, an environment lawyer who recently announced his attempt to challenge Issa in 2018, shared an image of the Congress member seeming to avoid demonstrators on social networks, where he joined.
Yes, it’s really @Darrellissa On the roof of its district office building. Too afraid to come and talk with constituents assembled below. pic.twitter.com/wcyrjo8ev8

Others have seen his retirement in a roof as recalling Michael Scott, the character of Steve Carrell THE Desk who put memorable on the roof in the episode entitled “Training in security”.
Sean Spicer: I hid in the bushes to avoid people! No one can overcome that!
Darrell Issa: hold my beer. https://t.co/txy2wpkbki– Lily Herman (@Lkherman) May 30, 2017
@Mikelevinca @Darrellissa You should treat him like Michael Scott and tell him that you have a gift for him if he goes down. pic.twitter.com/sbkznuhdz1

Issa, on the other hand, described his trip on the roof a little differently. Shortly after criticism, he went to Twitter to offer this story. We recommend that you zoom in to examine the signs more closely:
I spent the morning talking with voters gathered in front of the office today, then went upstairs to take a quick photo! pic.twitter.com/k2cfdenoij
