Why was Tracfone prosecuted?
This Tracfone regulation came in response to a collective appeal filed against the company after a data violation of December 2021 explained the personal data of its customers. The complainants in the case argued that the company had not provided cybersecurity measures which would have prevented the violation
Although Tracfone agreed to pay a regulation, he did not admit any reprehensible act in this case.
Who is eligible for the tracfone colony?
The regulation is open to any tracfone customer, or to one of its aforementioned marks, which reside in the United States and can verify the damage suffered by the violation.
