Death Of Congressional Staffer For Republican Texas Rep Under Investigation

The death of Regina Santos-Aviles, the American representative Tony Gonzales, regional director of district, is the subject of an investigation, the police announced.
The Uvalde Police Department (UPD) and the Texas Rangers are investigating the death of Santos-Aviles, a Uvalde resident, who died on Saturday after being transported to the hospital following a police call to his home on Saturday evening, according to a press release and a call sheet obtained by the daily.

Bexar’s County Legalist’s office said that she died on Sunday at 6:34 a.m., without cause or officially disclosed, according to News 4 San Antonio. On Wednesday, the cause and the mode of death were still inquiry, Ksat.com reported. Chef Homer Homer Delgado said in an official statement on Monday that there was no signs of unfair play in the death of Santos-Aviles and that the investigation is underway.
“We are working in close collaboration with the victim’s family, who fully cooperates with our investigators during this difficult period.
Delgado urged the Uvalde community to meet following the death of Santos-Aviles and stressed that no other detail will be published due to the respect of the family.

Santos-Aviles previously been executive director of the Uvalde Region Chamber of Commerce before leaving this role in November 2021 to become regional director of the Gonzales office in Uvalde, according to his Linkedin profile.
The appellant also contacted the Texas Rangers for more information on the death of Santos-Aviles but did not receive a response in time for publication.
