Watch as bungling bots compete in first World Robot Games – & show humanoids aren’t ready for world domination just yet

The very first Olympics robot started – with images of jostling droids showing that they may not yet be ready for world domination.
The three -day event, which takes place in China, will see robots with 280 teams from 16 different countries will compete on a range of sporting events.

Robots AI should compete in a range of competitions such as football, athletics, boxing and table tennis.

“It’s sad, but it’s better than investing a lot of money in a product that failed.”
Games spectators paid between $ 17.83 and $ 80.77 for tickets.

In a 1,500 -meter race, the humanoid runners of the Domestic Champion UniLee have effortlessly exceeded their rivals.
The fastest robot ended in 6:29:37, AFP reported.
For comparison, the fastest human record for the same race is 3:26:00.
The government of the city of Beijing is one of the major game donors – a symbol of the quantity of China is investing in robots and AI.
The push occurs while the country faces an aging population and slows growth.
