Declassified Video Shows US Trying to Shoot Down UFO

A missile would have struck a mysterious orb off the coast of Yemen last year, captured in a striking video presented Tuesday during an audience on unidentified abnormal phenomena (UAP).
The images show an MQ-9 reaper drone according to the object before a second drone draws a Hellfire missile, sending fragments that fall around it.
The video was presented during a session of the working group on the declassification of federal secrets, which is investigating the release of government equipment in the public interest. The member of the Republican Congress Eric Burlison of the Missouri said that the images, recorded on October 30, 2024, came from a denunciator and are now under an independent review.
Nowsweek contacted the pentagon by email to comment.
Why it matters
Tuesday’s audience, entitled “Restoring public confidence through transparency and protection of denunciators”, reflects an increasing concern concerning the implications of the national security of UAPs, also known as UFO.
These unexplained objects have long fed speculation on extraterrestrial life or secret military programs. The legislators argue that decades of secrecy have left the public in the dark on questions that could have an impact on science and security.

What to know
According to Burlison, the video shows an object at high speed – as a missile – mounting the orb, which then deforms, tumbles up and loses smaller fragments, barely visible.
“He continued, and it seemed that the debris had been taken with it,” said Burlison. “I’m not going to speculate what it is, but the question is why are we blocked from this information?”
The MQ-9 drone following the object captured the incident in real time, while a second drone, not visible in the images, would have pulled the missile. Burlison also shared the video publicly by publishing it on X. An independent video review is underway.
You will find below the video that I revealed in our @GopOversight UAP hearing today, made available to the public for the first time.

Testimony
The audience also presented the testimony of the American Air Force veteran, Dylan Borland, who told an observation in 2012 of a silent triangular profession of 100 feet with the Langley Air Force in Virginia. Borland said that the object did not emit healthy or disruption of the wind and seemed to be made of fluid material.
Stressing the credibility of these accounts, democratic representative of Florida Jared Moskowitz, criticized the government of having deceived the public on the UAPS, claiming that the “impeccable files” of veterans make it difficult to rejection of these observations.
Pentagon reports
The November 2024 Pentagon report on the UAP revealed that many observations were poorly identified objects, including balloons, birds or drones. Out of 510 reported incidents, only 21 deserved a more in -depth analysis. The office of the resolution of anomalies in the Department of Defense Department (Aaro) stressed that no evidence of extraterrestrial technology or advanced foreign capacities have been found.

Missouri Gop Representative Eric Burlison: “I’m not going to speculate what it is, but the question is why are we blocked from this information?”
Representative Jared Moskowitz, a Florida Democrat: “I don’t really know what is true, I don’t know, on this subject, but I know when we are led and we are definitely lied, there is no doubt.”
Dylan Borland, Air Force veteran: “The profession interfered with my phone, had no sound, and the material which was made in relation to a fluid or a dynamic.”
What happens next
Legislators have underlined the need for transparency and a more in -depth investigation, stressing that UAPs remain a potential national security problem. The rise in military tensions in Yemen after the rebel attacks Houthis against commercial ships makes the understanding of these phenomena more urgent, which raises questions about UAP in conflict zones and potential threats to American forces.
The ongoing examination of Yemen video and other denunciation reports will continue to shape the surveillance of the congress and public disclosure efforts.
