Democrat Ilhan Omar’s Husband’s Winery May Be in Trouble Due to Islamic Ban on Alcohol
Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) husband, Tim Mynett, may have problems with Islamic leaders because he owns a wine business in California.
Mynett converted to Islam when he married Omar, who is Muslim, in 2020. However, the sale of alcohol is prohibited under Islamic law, the New York Post reported Saturday, noting that Mynett’s company is called eStCru.

Meanwhile, President Donald Trump in January called for a criminal investigation into Omar to seek answers about how her wealth grew to more than $30 million while she held public office, the outlet reported.
