Even Republicans want House speaker to do his damn job

Republican Sen. Kevin Cramer of North Dakota appeared on Fox News On Wednesday, he suggested that House Speaker Mike Johnson should call Congress back into session, if only to appear to be doing his job.

“Maybe it’s time for him to bring the House back into session,” he said. “If only to start crafting some other legislation, and maybe swear in the Arizona congressman they’re so uptight about.”

The House member Cramer is referring to so cavalierly is Democrat Adelita Grijalva, who won a special election last month. Grijalva should be the final vote has release the Epstein files, that the GOP is desperate to stay hidden.
