Democrats justify closing the government to fight for lower health costs, but do not seem to change the course despite the loss of certain Americans to health services during funding.

Covering remote charts and home care for millions of Medicare beneficiaries expired on Wednesday at midnight due to the tanning of the Democrats of a government financing bill which would have extended certain health care programs. On Wednesday, the Daily Caller News Foundation spoke to more than ten democrats who reported that they would not savor their hard ball tactics despite that some seniors lose access to health services and argued that the fight against the president was more important. “It’s really difficult,” said Democratic Senator of Vermont, Peter Welch, at the DCNF, asked about millions of Americans losing coverage against certain health services. “Trump put us in this horrible position. Where will we soothe it when there is no end to his requests or do we have a stop?”

“We have chosen to get up and fight,” said Welch. “But [it’s a] Very difficult situation for the country. »»

The Arizona Democratic Senator Ruben Gallego made a similar argument while defending his party’s efforts to close the government for various health priorities.

“It is difficult of course,” Gallego told DCNF when he was in a hurry that some Americans lose access to health services. “It’s really really – it’s difficult.”

A handful of Democrats in the Senate criticized their colleagues strongly for allowing Americans to lose certain advantages during funding.

“Our goal is to do our job. It is not a question of having compromises,” said the Democratic Senator of Nevada, Catherine Cortez Masto

“And what I mean by that is to harm certain Americans so that we can help others,” continued Cortez Masto. “Our goal should be to avoid this and help everyone.”

Cortez Masto is one of the three members of the Democratic Caucus who broke with his party to finance the government. She argued that a financing lance would be “expensive” for its voters.

Gallego and Welch adopted a different approach, voting with the head of the Senate minority, Chuck Schumer, to keep the government closed – and certain frozen government health programs – Wednesday.

The counter-proposal of $ 1.5 dollars of the Democrats that the Republicans said on the arrival of the dead also re-authorized the programs.

The defenders of the extension of the coverage of the TV for beneficiaries of health insurance criticized the legislators for not having respected the deadline of September 30 and reautorizing the program.

“Medicare patients woke up this morning without remote channels for the first time since the pandemic, five years ago,” said Kyle Zebley, an executive director of the American Telehealth Association (ATA) and main vice-president, public political at ATA on Wednesday. “Our health services regress, fall terribly short for millions of patients in need.”

The Acute Care Hospital At Home initiative, which allows certain drug beneficiaries to receive hospital care at home, also expired on Wednesday at midnight. Decrease in the program authorization could disrupt care for many medical beneficiaries with more than 400 facilities in 39 states are registered in the program

A large hospital system in Boston, Massachusetts, interrupted admissions to its Hospital Program at home on Saturday in preparation for the congress that has not extended the program, Stat News reported.

The Massachusetts Democrat Senator Elizabeth Warren blamed the Republicans for certain advantages of maladie expiring when the DCNF was asked.

“We understand how much the health system works badly, but it will be much worse if the Republicans continue on this way to reduce health care for millions of Americans,” said Warren.

Other Democratic legislators have sought to blame the Republicans for certain health programs expired despite the vote on several occasions against a stopgap measure which would have extended them.

“Let’s be clear: the reason we are here is that the Republicans refuse to negotiate with the Democrats to keep the government open and approach these increased health costs for families,” Democratic Senator Alex Padilla told DCNF.

Padilla voted against a bipartite expenditure bill to finance the government three times.

Connecticut Democratic Senator Chris Murphy told the DCNF that he had not seen that health services were frozen due to the closure and could not talk about the issue.

“I have not seen any list, you know, the services they cut,” said Murphy. The Connecticut Democrat blamed the Trump administration for remote charters and the coverage of home care despite the fact that the services are frozen due to the votes of the Democrats for a closure.

The California Democratic Senator Adam Schiff did not speak after hearing the DCNF question about the frozen health services during the closure.

A Schiff spokesperson did not respond to a request for comments before the publication.

The Senate Republicans argued that the political benefits for the Democrats closing the government will finally become so overwhelming that the Caverne Party and will restore funding of the government.

The New York Times published on Tuesday an investigation which revealed that 65% of Americans oppose the closure of the Government of Democrats if all their policies “are not satisfied”.

“In the end, the members will see the damage that their closure causes to the American people, whether veterans who do not receive health care, whether it be [the] The soldiers who are not going to get payroll checks, and they will see that it is time to reopen the government, “the whip of the majority of the Senate, Whip Barrasso, the second Republican of the Senate on Wednesday.
