Valencia is on the market for a new striker, the Umar Sadiq loan having returned to Real Sociedad at the end of last season. Carlos Corberan, the club’s head coach, will be involved in the process, and a player who has become a target is someone with whom he crossed the path during his charm in England.
Before taking care of in Valence in December, Corberan managed Huddersfield and West Bromich Albion. And during its charm with the latter, its side faced Leicester City, whose captain at the time was Jamie Vardy.
Vardy, who has 154 goals in the Premier League, has since become a free agent following the expiration of his Leicester contract, and according to reports in England (via ED), Corberan put pressure for Valencia to move for the 38 -year -old man.

Despite his age, Vardy has shown that he could always work as a high level, having recorded nine goals and four assists for the relegated Leicester last season. He aroused the interest of clubs in England and Scotland, but the possibility of putting an end to his career in Spain could be an opportunity that he likes.
A few months ago, Valencia’s interest in Vardy was reported, and now that Sadiq’s return to Real was confirmed, he left. Los Che will be an attractive decision for him, although they will not be able to compete with the finances offered by Premier League clubs – or even the EFL championship.
It remains to be seen if Valence makes a concrete attempt to sign Vardy, but for the moment, their interest is in its early stages.
