Mamdani’s Latest Comment About Hamas, Netanyahu After Peace Deal Should Be End of His Campaign – RedState

Democratic socialist candidate for New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani made clear he was on the wrong side when he refused to call on Hamas to lay down its arms and doubled down on his threat to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu following President Donald Trump’s historic peace deal.
During her appearance on Fox News on Wednesday, anchor Martha MacCallum interviewed the radical left candidate about the terrorist group’s killing of Palestinians, even after it agreed to lay down its arms as part of the historic peace deal.
UH OH — Mamdani says he has NO OPINION on the future of Hamas and Israel “beyond the question of justice.”
So, even TODAY, when Hamas is murdering Palestinians, it is still not calling on them to lay down their arms?

MacCallum: “You wouldn’t say that Hamas should lay down its arms and give up leadership in Gaza?
Mamdani: “I don’t really have an opinion on the future of Hamas and Israel beyond the question of justice and security, and the fact that everything must respect international law. And that applies to Hamas, that applies to the Israeli army, applies to anyone you might ask me about.”
MacCallum asked if Mamdani would at least give President Donald Trump credit for the peace deal, but he also declined to do so.
NOW — Mamdani says it’s “too early” to congratulate President Trump for ending the war in Gaza.
Martha: “Would you give him credit, to some extent?
Mamdani: “I think it’s too early. But if it turns out to be something lasting, then I think that’s where credit should be given.” pic.twitter.com/X6EquYhtUx

MacCallum: “Would you give President Trump credit or not? To a certain extent. Credit or not?
Mamdani: “I think it’s too early to do it. But if it turns out to be something sustainable, something sustainable, then I think that’s where you give credit.”
Did you catch this? He said someone would give credit and made sure not to answer if they did.

At one point in the interview, the Democratic mayoral candidate reiterated his promise to get the New York police to arrest Netanyahu if the Israeli prime minister ever comes to New York in case Mamdani is elected mayor, referencing an arrest warrant for Netanyahu from the International Criminal Court (ICC), which the United States does not recognize.
Fox News’ Martha MacCallum takes Zohran Mamdani’s absurd threat to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu if he visits New York during his mayoral term WOOD-CHIPPER.

“I said this is a city that believes in international law,” Mamdani said.
MacCallum: “The United States does not stand with the International Criminal Court.
Mamdani: “The ICC has, however, issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu.”
MacCallum: “On what grounds in the United States could you arrest him? »
This man would be a disaster for the greatest city in America. Come on, New Yorkers.
