An unannounced Teenage Engineering device, the KO-Amp 35, can be found at the FCC in a new filing. The label clearly marks it as a member of the mid-range EP instrument family, which currently includes the KO-II and its spin-offs, the Riddim and Medieval. The name suggests that TE might be getting into the budget guitar and instrument amp business, but the record reveals very little.

All we know is that it has a built-in rechargeable battery and Bluetooth, but nothing else. There’s also a “model difference statement,” which suggests the KO-Amp will be available in multiple colors. The angle and distance of the images in the folder make it difficult to distinguish, although there appear to be buttons placed in the concave grip at the top and a quarter-inch grip at the top rear of the device.

TE is widely expected to consider expanding its EP lineup. We’ve already seen a mixer leak alongside the Riddim n’ Ting, which has yet to be announced.
