President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump kicked off the holiday season by lighting the National Christmas Tree on the White House Ellipse.
This year’s 35-foot red spruce comes from the George Washington and Jefferson National Forest in Virginia.
The National Christmas Tree will be open to the public from December 6.
