Brooklyn man beaten to death by deli workers in clash around corner from victim’s home

A 59 -year -old man was beaten to death inside a Brooklyn charcuterie at the corner of his home during a fight with two store workers, police announced on Tuesday.

Gerry Hill was struck in the head until he lost consciousness inside Royal Deli & Grill on Knickerbocker avenue near Wilson Ave. In Bushwick around 7:05 p.m. on Monday, cops said.

Police sources said Hill was a beggar in the neighborhood and was the attacker in the fight with charcuterie workers.

Doctors rushed to Elmhurst hospital, where he died. The charcuterie is at the corner of the Hill building.

Hill was beaten with an undeveloped object, police said.

On July 25, the cops arrested Hill for accusations of assault and harassment after being accused of having struck a 44 -year -old man in the face during an argument inside the Mexican restaurant in Leo on Knickerbocker Ave. – Just at the bottom of the charcuterie block where Hill was killed.

His victim was not seriously injured, said cops.

Hill was released without surety after his indictment before the Brooklyn Criminal Tribunal the next day. He was to return to court on October 14.
