iOS 26 Has a Hidden Way to Set Reminders

The addition of things to the reminders on the iPhone requires several steps. You must open the application, then find the relevant list, then enter the task. Of course, you can use Siri, but according to my experience, Siri makes mistakes, and I prefer to type things. In the past, I have used and recommended the RemindmeFaster applicationThis reduces the work required to a single tap. Now Apple has integrated this concept directly into iOS 26, leading to a higher (and faster) experience to add tasks to the Reminders application.
The new IOS 26 recall control can be added to the control center, the lock screen or the action button. No matter where you trigger it, it raises a quick entry system that floats above everything, allowing you to add reminders with the due dates, the location and the list of your choice.
Configuration of the new shortcut of quick reminders
As mentioned above, you can add the new recall control to one of the three new places. For the fastest input, you can choose the lock screen or the control center option.
Open the order center, type and keep in an empty area and tap Add a check. Now look for and add the New reminder control. You are then free to put it anywhere in the control center, and you can also extend its size.

Likewise, access the lock screen, press and hold the wallpaper, choose PersonalizeThen choose one both Control buttons below. Communicate it New recall controlAnd you are ready to leave.
To add it to the action button, Parameters > Action button > Orders > Choose a check > New reminder.
I personally defined the new recall switch to the control center, just below. I do not use any action button actions, and I like to keep the torch and camera icons on the lock screen, so the control center is the best option for me.

Now that the new recall control is at the front and in the center, it’s time to test it.
The tapping will reveal a new floating window at the top of the iPhone screen (it will also work on iPad and Mac).
Here you can press the drop -down icon to select a list – it will remember the list you used last, so you won’t have to modify it each time. Then type the recall, and you can even add notes here (stick to the notes works as expected). Then, you can use natural language to add a due date (for example, typing “tomorrow at 9 am”, then choosing the time of the suggestion bar). You have added a location or report it as an important task. Then press the checkout icon to save the recall.
