Eagles-Commanders Break Out in Brawl after Two-Point Conversion

The Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders took their play to another level Sunday, after the Eagles’ two-point conversion late in the game at Commanders’ Northwest Stadium sent the teams into a brawl.
Eagles running back Tank Bigsby had a 22-yard touchdown run, putting the Eagles well ahead of the Commanders, 27-10. Eagles coach Nick Sirianni then went for a two-point conversion and was successful as Saquon Barkley ran through the left side of the offensive line, according to Sports Illustrated.
Barkley had to lobby commanders to return to his team, but things got heated.
It wasn’t long before the teams began to face each other under a shower of yellow flags.
WATCH:
Three players were sent off from the match. Commanders defensive lineman Javon Kinlaw, Washington safety Quan Martin and Eagles offensive lineman Tyler Steen eventually headed to the showers.
The win sent the Eagles to the playoffs with an NFC East title. In fact, Philadelphia is the first NFC East team to win the title two years in a row since the Eagles did the same from 2001-04.
