Biden Slams Minn. Immigration Crackdown: ‘Betrays Most Basic Values’
Former President Joe Biden, who oversaw what is widely considered the “worst border crisis in U.S. history,” condemned the ongoing immigration crackdown in Minneapolis on social media Tuesday.
Biden, 83, issued a statement following the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti on Saturday by Border Patrol agents in the city, which occurred the same month as the fatal shooting of Renee Good during an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operation. The former president, who is still embroiled in the auto-open scandal and the apparent cover-up of his mental deterioration, said the events in Minneapolis “betray[s] our most fundamental values as Americans.
“We are not a nation that cuts down our citizens in the streets. We are not a nation that allows our citizens to be brutalized for exercising their constitutional rights. We are not a nation that tramples on the 4th Amendment and tolerates our neighbors being terrorized,” wrote Biden, whose administration authorized the release of millions of illegal immigrants into the United States, including individuals who went on to rape and murder American citizens.
“Minnesotans have stood strong: helping community members in unimaginable circumstances, speaking out against injustice when they see it, and holding our government accountable to the people,” he continued. “Minnesotans have reminded us all what it means to be American, and they have suffered enough at the hands of this administration. Violence and terror have no place in the United States of America, especially when it is our own government that targets American citizens.
Biden, whose Justice Department has targeted peaceful pro-lifers and whose FBI has arrested Christian fathers at gunpoint in front of their children, then encouraged people to “stand up and speak out” as anti-ICE protests continue to erupt in Minneapolis and across the country.
“No single person can destroy what America stands for and what it believes in, not even a president, if we – all of America – stand up and speak out. We know who we are. It’s time to show the world. Most importantly, it’s time to show ourselves,” said the former president, who tirelessly advocated for killing unborn babies through abortions and underage trannies.
“Now, justice demands full, fair and transparent investigations into the deaths of the two Americans who lost their lives in the city they called home. Jill and I send strength to the families and communities who love Alex Pretti and Renee Good as we all mourn their senseless deaths,” he continued.
