Elon Musk Will Return Tesla Owners’ Turn Signal Controls

Tesla now proposes to modernize a turnover signal rod for the owners of its model 3 refreshed, which had previously deleted the standard control found in almost all modern cars in favor of the steering wheel and tactile screen controls. The shift signal stock is currently available in China at a cost of $ 348, without official word if it will be offered in America.
The penis reports that Tesla d’Elon Musk, known for her minimalist design philosophy and focuses on autonomous driving, has made the unexpected decision to offer a renovation turning turn rod for its model 3 refresh electric sedan. The withdrawal was extremely unpopular to the owners of Tesla, who found the absence of an annoying and counter-intuitive physical upper.
The renovation turn signal rod is currently only available in China, at around $ 348. The list of the Tesla online store can be read as follows: “Change your model 3 by replacing the turnpiece buttons on your steering wheel with turns signal rods.” This development is particularly remarkable given the recent history of Tesla to rationalize its vehicle orders and to rely more on automation.
When Tesla published for the first time the “Highland” model refreshed 3 in China in 2023, and later in the world in 2024, the electric sedan included several design adjustments and an additional touch screen for rear passengers. However, the most controversial change was the elimination of the turn of turn and training stems. Instead, Tesla has chosen to move these orders to the steering wheel buttons and the central touch screen, a decision apparently inspired by the business vision of a future dominated by autonomous vehicles.
Many owners of Tesla have expressed their dissatisfaction with the change of buttons, finding them heavier to use compared to traditional physical controls. The absence of a dedicated turn signal rod, a characteristic which has been a staple in cars for decades, has proven to be a point of discord for certain engines which estimated that Tesla had prioritized the form of function.
It seems that Tesla has taken this feedback to heart, as evidenced by the introduction of the renovation turn signal rod. However, the decision to offer the stem as an optional equity, rather than as a standard functionality or a free renovation, may not be well with all the owners. Some may say that Tesla should have included the stem in the 3 model updated from the start, or at least provided it as an optional option for those who prefer it.
The expensive upgrade to have controls considered to be standard in all other cars on the road recalls the Volkswagen subscription to achieve engine performance. As Breitbart News recently reported:
The German automaker Volkswagen has introduced a subscription-based model to unlock the full potential of its ID.3 electric car, a new model available in the United Kingdom. While the ID.3 pro and pro S models are listed on the configurator as producing 201 power, buyers must pay monthly subscription fees of £ 16.50 ($ 22.29) to access the maximum 228 horsepower production.
This subscription, which comes after a free trial of one month, is almost three times the cost of a standard Netflix subscription with announcements. The owners can also opt for a lifetime subscription for £ 649 ($ 877), which remains linked to the vehicle even if it is sold.
It remains to be seen if Tesla will broaden the availability of the renovation turn signal rod beyond China, and if so, at what price. The company’s decision to reintroduce the upper could be considered recognition that, despite its ambitious autonomous driving plans, there is still a significant demand for traditional physical controls among its customers.
