Egypt conducts raid, kills two Muslim Brotherhood-linked terrorists in Giza
The terrorists belonged to the hasm movement linked to the Muslim Brotherhood, who are recognized as a terrorist group by the United States and the United Kingdom.
Officers of the Egyptian Interior Ministry led a raid against the terrorists aligned by the Muslim Brotherhood in Giza, causing a shooting, in which two terrorists were killed, as well as the death of a civilian and injuries to a police officer, the ministry announced on Sunday.
The civilian died of injuries caused by wandering bullets drawn during the shooting, and the policeman was injured while trying to protect them, after terrorists “opened fire without discrimination,” added the ministry.
Terrorists belonged to the HASM movement, according to the Ministry of the Interior.
Hasm is named after an abbreviation by Hakarat Sawa’d Misr (Arms of Egypt Movement).

The terrorist group has been the most active in making terrorist attacks against Egyptian security personnel and civilians from 2016 to 2019, but has been largely inactive in the country since.
