The Seattle Navy won the best power striker on the market on the deadline for the MLB 2025 MLB trade. Seattle accepted an agreement to acquire the third basic player Eugenio Suárez of Arizona Diamondbacks, reports ESPN. The first goal player Tyler Locklear and the launchers of the Minor League, Hunter Cranton and Juan Burgos, constitute the package towards Arizona, by MLB.com. For Suárez, the agreement marks a return to Seattle, where he passed the seasons 2022 and 2023.

Suárez, 34, has already gathered more than 30 circuits for the fourth time in the past five years and the fifth time in the last seven years, and one of the twice he was not the pandemic season of 60 games in 2020. He is at the rate of more than 50 circuits (36 and cash), although the rhythm of the high ball of the leak is correctly.

Player Headshot

Anyway, Suárez with a career home run is a very good player and a significant upgrade to the third goal for the navy. His defense is adequate these days – he is definitely a player player first – but he has revolutionary power and is known as an excellent presence of clubhouse. Suárez has long been congratulated to be a great teammate who takes young players under his wing.

The D-Backs moved Suárez despite dragging the margins of the post-season race because he will be a free agent after the season, and because they could not allow the chance to add young talents to the organization. The D-Backs have already exchanged Josh Naylor (also in Mariners), and other rentals like Jalen Beeks, Zac Gallen and Merrill Kelly could move to the deadline, perhaps even more players than that.

The 36 Suárez circuits ranked fifth in MLB. His new teammate, the receiver Mariners Cal Raleigh, leads baseball with 41 circuits. A single team in the history of the MLB had two 50 homer strikers during the same season: the Yankees of 1961 with Roger Maris and Mickey Mantle. Suárez also set the record for the largest number of circuits of all players when it was exchanged on the deadline.

Suárez won $ 15 million this season, which is the year of option of the $ 66 million extension club over seven years which he signed with the Cincinnati Reds in March 2018. He started his career with the Tigers de Detroit and has since been exchanged to the Reds, Seattle Mariners, then in D-Backs. This is his 12th MLB season.
