It’s been a tough year for bank accounts overall, but streaming services in particular have really upped the ante. Almost all major streamers became more expensive in 2025, including Netflix, Peacock, HBO Max, Apple TV+, YouTube TV, Disney+, Hulu, and Paramount+. So it goes without saying that we’re very excited about this year’s Black Friday streaming deals. We could all use some discounts, amirite?
Black Friday is known for being the best time of year to sign up for streaming services, as you can usually score some serious savings on monthly or annual subscription fees. And we’re happy to report that this year is no different. If you’re looking for a way to cut streaming costs for 2026, now is the perfect time to take advantage of a deeply discounted subscription.
One thing to note: Most Black Friday streaming deals are limited to new and returning subscribers (as in, if you subscribed to Peacock once, but canceled your subscription months ago) only.
We’re still patiently waiting for some of the big hitters to drop their annual Cyber Week deals, but since Amazon’s Black Friday sale officially launched on November 20, several impressive Prime Video streaming add-on deals are already live. HBO Max also threw its hat into the ring earlier this year, although we’re still waiting on other big names like Peacock, Hulu, and Disney+. In a shocking turn of events, HBO Max has struck a Black Friday deal in 2025 that actually beats its 2024 and 2023 streaming deal. This year, new and returning subscribers can sign up for 12 months of HBO Max Basic with ads for $2.99 per month through December 1. That’s only $35.88 for the entire year and about 73% savings. In 2023 and 2024, the streamer only offered this reduced price for six months. So, not only do you get double the subscription term with a discount, but you also save even more after the recent price hike (up to $10.99/month from $9.99/month).
The streaming service owned by Warner Bros. Discovery is one of our favorites. Not only is it home to Warner Bros. films, but also new A24 theatrical releases, a ton of great original series (like The last of us, The PittAnd IT: Welcome to Derry), and even live sports via the B/R Sports add-on.

Apple TV+, like several other streamers, increased the cost of its subscription by 30% a few months ago, from $9.99 to $12.99 per month. This offer, which drops the price to just $5.99 per month for six months, is therefore very appreciated. The only problem? It comes as a Prime Video add-on, which means you need to be a Prime member or a Prime Video subscriber to get the subscription discount.
