Even Fox Is Struggling to Spin Trump’s Terrible Jobs Report
Fox News has trouble finding a rotation when President Trump’s economy continues to perform less than expected. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the United States has only added 22,000 jobs this month – a massive drop in relation to the figures for the previous month – and unemployment has increased, the two warning signs for an upcoming brutal economy.
“Twenty-two thousand jobs added in August, it was much less than the expectation of 75,000, the guys; the July issue was revised, I will arrive at revisions in an instant”, ” said Lauren Simonetti de Fox Business Friday morning. “The unemployment rate arrives as expected, 4.3%. … Again, 22,000 jobs added in August. … For June and July, combined 21,000 jobs below the previously reported.”

This number of 22,000 is not only “weaker than expected”, it is horrible – and it is once again the fears of this terrible word that Trump continues to avoid: recession. Economists had planned that 75,000 jobs would be added this month.

“But again, this number of 22,000, Charles, is a lower number than expected, and these revisions are quite brutal,” said Fox host Cheryl Casone.
“Yeah, extraordinarily,” replied the host Charles Payne. “I mentioned health care, 31,000 – the average of 12 months is 42,000.
Casone then asked the guest and the “motivation chief” Joanie Bily to share her reflections on the participation rate of the active population, which is 62.3%.
“We do not see much movement in this number, which is disappointing. And surprising, to be honest with you, Cheryl.… We have again lost jobs in the professional commercial services sector, we have lost jobs in this report in the temporary aid sector, which is not a good sign, so there is a lot of concerns even if the private pay number is 38,000, which is still a fairly low number. ”
Perhaps Trump struck the health care system and hurt the economy with a trade war was the problem from the start, and not the BLS commissioner he dismissed to be too “awake” after the terrible report of jobs last month. What will Fox News say when we really be in the recession?
