Chris Paul to reunite with Clippers for 21st NBA season

Chris Paul returns to the site of some of his best seasons.
The 40-year-old leader accepted a contract with the Los Angeles clippers, according to reports, bringing him together with the franchise with which he spent six seasons of 2011-2017.
This is an agreement of $ 3.6 million, according to the initiate of the NBA Chris Haynes.
Paul, who entered his 21st season, had cited the desire to be closer to his family based in Los Angeles.
“My son has just been 16 years old. My daughter is 12,” said Paul last month on “The Pat McAfee Show of Espn”. “In the past six seasons, I have lived without them.”
Paul received five All-Star selections and five TOP-10 in the MVP vote during his six seasons with the Clippers, with whom he collected on average 18.8 points and 9.8 assists per game.
Los Angeles went to the playoffs every six years but never passed beyond the second round.
All-Star 12 times, Paul joins a list of clippers full by Kawhi Leonard and James Harden. He is about to become the latest veteran of Los Angeles of the offseason, after John Collins and Bradley Beal.
The Clippers went 50-32 and finished fifth from the Western Conference last season, to be eliminated in the first round of the playoffs by the Denver Nuggets. Paul, on the other hand, came out of a season in which he started 82 games for the San Antonio Spurs and collected an average of 8.8 points and 7.4 assists per game.
Monday’s agreement brings together Paul and Harden, who played two seasons with the 2017 Houston Rockets to 29.
Paul also played for New Orleans Hornets, Oklahoma City Thunder, Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors.
During the interview with “McAfee” last month, Paul said that he felt physically but that he did not want to play much longer, stressing his desire to spend more time with his family.
