Everything coming from Apple in August 2025
August is calm before the storm. In September, Apple will announce the new iPhone 17 range and the new Apple watches and perhaps also other things. But in August, we will simply get a stable march of beta OS updates leading to this launch, and the macOS 26, iOS 26, TVOS 26, all 26 updates arrive in September.
Of course, there will be the usual multitude of Apple Arcade outings at the beginning of the month and Apple TV + outings throughout the month. We do not expect new material ads.
Software applications and updates
The first public beta of iOS 26, MacOS 26, iPados 26, Watchos 26 and Tvos 26 were all published on July 24.
Throughout the month of August, we can expect two or three other beta updates while Apple continues to polish the experience, squash of bugs and improve performance. Current beta has all the main features promised to WWDC, so there is no
For iOS 18 and macOS 15, there will probably be an X.7 outing in September which focuses on security updates, and there could be a beta version of that in August. But with regard to new features or anything else exciting, you will have to go to iOS 26.
