The gifts don’t stop coming once December ends—at least not in the streaming world. Paramount+ has revealed its January 2026 lineup, and in addition to new seasons of popular shows and the premieres of several new original series—scripted and unscripted, we’re also getting a captivating docuseries and a slew of classic movies.
New series include Girl Taken, a psychological thriller series based on the novel Baby Doll by Hollie Overton, Handsome Devil: The Charming Killer, a docuseries about how a man arrested for two brutal murders suddenly became a media fixation, Showtime’s Coldwater, a twisted thriller starring The Walking Dead’s Andrew Lincoln, and the highly anticipated Star Trek spinoff Starfleet Academy.
Additionally, new unscripted series Harlan Coben’s Final Twist will premiere, as will a new season of School Spirits. Game show fans will be happy to know that weekly episodes of The Price is Right at Night and Hollywood Squares are also returning. It’s also Red Carpet season, and the 83rd Annual Golden Globes are upon us.
As far as movies go, stock up on the popcorn, because some good ones are coming to your fingertips. Revisit cult-classic hits like High Noon, Footloose, Major League, and Clerks, or dive into entire universes with the Scream trilogy, The Crow trilogy, and, for some gut-bursting laughter and way too much childish fun, the entire Jackass franchise. You can also expect great sci-fi flicks, such as Equilibrium, sweet rom-coms, such as 50 First Dates, and more dramas, action-thrillers, scary movies, and comedies than you can stand.

Reality fans should keep their eyes peeled for the new unscripted series Canada Shore, which is the Canadian edition of MTV’s Shore phenomenon, and sports fans have plenty to look forward to with the Paramount+ debuts of Zuffa Boxing and UFC 324 and 325, as well as the NFL AFC Championship Game and plenty of basketball. The mountain of entertainment will only continue to grow, and at this rate, you can bank on it being an exciting year.
