Everything You Can Do in the Photoshop Mobile App

Now Adobe tries again: the brand new Photoshop application (now available for iOS and which has just been published in beta for Android), is “reinvented” for a smartphone. The application tries to provide as many tools and features of the complete software as possible, while optimizing them for use on a mobile touch screen.
Although it is impossible to report everything – in the same way that MacOS would not work on an iPhone – there is much to explore in the new Photoshop application. You can download it for free from iOS, although some features require a premium subscription ($ 7 per month for the new mobile and web plan, that is an existing photoshop plan). Android users can download the beta version and use it completely for free for a limited time. Regular prices will be hampered when the application is generally available worldwide.
Rapid actions
By default, when you open a new image in the iOS version, you will be invited to apply a “quick action”. (Android users, this happens soon.) If you just prefer to go directly to the full editing interface each time, check the Don’t show that box, and press Go to the publisher. However, if you want to apply a basic effect in as little time as possible, these quick actions can be useful.
You will see that they all involve backgrounds. Faucet HideAnd Photoshop tries to identify the main subject of the image and cut the rest – you can then drop any type of replacement background that you like. Alternately, there is United backgroundwhich falls into a color that you can modify, or Black and white background, Which keeps the subject in color but turns everything else in gray levels.
Whatever the one you choose, Photoshop will take care of creating a new layer for you, so that you can work on the foreground and the history independently. You will see that the layers are available via the sticker in the lower right corner of the image. With the united background, for example, press the layer of the layer, then the left arrow, then Change the color To move on to a different shade.
Layers and masks
The layers and masks are essentially what separates the basic image editors from the advances, allowing you to stack different elements in one image on each other (layers) and make them modifications (masks).
