F1 news: VCARB unveils a bespoke livery for the British Grand Prix

Before the British Formula 1 Grand Prix, Visa Cash App Racing Bulls unveiled a special livery for the race in Silverstone. Unveiled during an event in London on Tuesday, the livery is in partnership with Hugo and presents a design of the Nigerian artist Slawn.

According to a press release from the team, design associates “the lines of sport, fashion and art”. The livery presents “The aesthetics of the famous graffiti by Slaned, rooted in its Yoruba heritage and the urban culture of London. His work calls into question traditional and prosperous art standards on media and disturbances, making it a perfect synergy between VCarb and Hugo. ”

This is not Slawn’s first foray into the sports world. The artist has designed the Emirates FA Cup trophy this season.

VCARB enters the British Grand Prix seated sixth in the manufacturers’ championship ranking with 36 points. This their place 19 points behind the Williams of fifth place and seven points ahead of Haas of seventh place.
