Mark Zuckerberg, the Lawyer, Is Suing Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO

A lawyer for bankruptcy based in Indianapolis, named Mark Steven Zuckerberg, Meta continues on a repeated confusion with CEO Mark Elliot Zuckerberg.
“I’m Mark Steven. And he’s Mark Elliot,” the lawyer told the local Indianapolis 13news news agency.
The lawyer continues meta for negligence and breach of contract, saying that Facebook closes his pages to use a “false name” and “imitate a celebrity”.
The lawyer’s commercial account has been suspended five times in the past eight years, and his personal account has been closed four. Zuckerberg (lawyer) says that it continues to happen despite many emails and Meta apology.
Meta told Gizmodo that he had since restored his account.
“We have restored Mark Zuckerberg’s account after discovering that he was mistaken,” said a spokesperson. “We appreciate the continuous patience of Mr. Zuckerberg on this issue and work to try to prevent this from happening in the future.”
After each suspension, the lawyer says he needs months to recover his account. The last time, it took him six months. Going months both without his Facebook account for his legal practice would have cost him thousands of dollars in advertising and communication with customers.
“They have more money and more lawyers and more resources than me. I prefer not to fight with them, but I don’t know how to stop them! ” The lawyer told the station. “For someone who claims to be one of the main technological companies in the world, and they can’t stop doing this? And they don’t seem to make their call process work? I think they have a problem.”
The lawyer requests a return – and a week on the zuckerberg yacht
The lawyer now asks Meta to restore his Facebook accounts suspended for good and reimburse him for the costs and the advertising money he lost during the months suspended. He is convinced that he will win the trial.
“It’s not funny,” he said. “Not when they take my money. It really annoyed me. ”
He says he would also accept personal apology from Zuckerberg, the CEO.
“If he wants to fly here personally and say” I’m sorry “, or maybe letting myself spend a week on his boat to say that I am sorry, I would probably take it,” said the lawyer.
Not the controversy linked to the name of Meta
The trial is rather the first of its kind, but this is not Meta’s first controversy with Facebook’s name policies.
Facebook was at the center of many events in the early 2010s for its real policies. Conflicts at the time were nicknamed “The Nymwars” (nym as in the pseudonym).
Facebook has obtained a lot of heat for the suspension of accounts that used favorite names instead of their names recognized by the government, including transgender users and trail artists. In a high -level case, Facebook suspended the accounts of the famous novelist Salman Rushdie and reintegrating him as “Ahmed Rushdie”, his legal name that the author has never passed into the public’s eyes.
Politics also targeted Amerindian names at the time. At the end of 2015, Facebook ceded after years of criticism and changed its real policy to allow users to provide a context for special circumstances.
