How to watch the 2025 ESPYS: Date, times and more
Each year since 1993, “The Espys” has brought together celebrities from the worlds of sport and entertainment to recognize and celebrate the main sports achievements and the unforgettable moments of sport in the past year. “The ESPYS 2025 presented by Capital One”, hosted by the actor Shane Gillis, will do more of the same thing. The National Basketball Hall of Famer, Oscar Robertson, will receive the Arthur Ashe Prize for Courage, the Penn State women’s volleyball coach, Katie Schumacher-Cawley, will receive the Jimmy V Award for Perseverance, and the Grand Los Angeles, the first stakeholders and the former athletes David Walters and Erin Répan will receive the Prix Pat Tillman for the service.

The ESPYS prize show helps to raise awareness and funds for the V Foundation for Cancer Research, the charity founded by ESPN and Jim Valvano. The former NC State male basketball coach and ESPN commentator died in 1993 from adenocarcinoma, a type of glandular cancer. ESPN has helped collect more than $ 250 million for the V Foundation in the past 30 years and more.
