The Minister of National Security of Israel, Itamar Ben-Gvir, criticized the resumption of larger aid deliveries to the Gaza Strip.

In a post on X, Ben-Gvir described movement as a slap opposite the Israeli soldiers.

The delivery of humanitarian aid is equivalent to “keeping the enemy alive”, also wrote Ben-Gvir.

In the position, he addressed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu directly and called for the latest aid deliveries.

Ben-Girvir is considered a hard river in the Conservative government of Netanyahu. He is also in favor of the idea of completely capturing the Gaza Strip and to expel the Palestinian population.

In January, he left the government to protest against a temporary ceasefire with the Palestinian Islamist organization Hamas. After the resumption of fighting, he received his post.

Israel has largely blocked independent aid deliveries for the suffering population in the Gaza Strip for months and has been subjected to massive international criticisms.

Now, for the first time, larger aid deliveries have reached the Gaza Strip again.

On Sunday, a convoy of around 100 trucks carrying goods went to the sealed coastal area, where around 2 million Palestinians live.

After the resumption of aid deliveries, Netanyahu stressed that Israel remains determined to achieve its declared war objectives. Israel is making progress “in battle and negotiations,” he said.

However, the delivery of “minimum humanitarian aid” in the Gaza Strip must be authorized, continued Netanyahu.
