‘Fascists Don’t Hold Town Halls’: GOP Rep Confronts Crowd Of Shouty, Hysterical Leftists

The Republican representative of Nebraska, Mike Flood, vigorously defended the first act of Big Bill of President Donald Trump and his reforms in Medicaid while facing a crowd hostile to a town hall on Monday evening.
Flood, one of the few legislators who plans to hold town halls in person during the work period in the August district, met an almost constant heckling – including cries of “tax the rich” and “free Palestine” – during the one hour event in Lincoln, Nebraska. Despite the noisy crowd that tried to drown the remarks of Flood, the Nebraska republican sought to fight against the “disinformation” of the president’s signature law against scathing criticism from participants whose extreme left positions seemed to surpass with the median voter. “More than anything, I really believe that this bill protects Medicaid for the future,” said Flood during the town hall event, inviting a series of huae. “We have protected Medicaid.”
The majority of Americans approved the new MEDICAIDE work requirements as part of the “big and beautiful” law of the president – including 47% of the Democrats – according to a March survey carried out by the research company on non -partisan health policies KFF. However, many in the audience have toasted the Republican of Nebraska for having supported the provision.
“One of these changes [to Medicaid] If you are able to work and you are valid, you have to work, “said Flood during the town hall concerning the taxation of new Medicaid work requirements for adults and valid parents with children aged 14 and over, inviting a torrent of wax of the crowd.
“If you choose not to work, you do not get free health care. You don’t get free health care,” added Flood, which prompted more hoots.
“So here’s a question: do you think that 28-year-old people who can work and refuse to work should get free health care?” Flood asked? The crowd proceeded to approval.
“I don’t think the majority of Nebraskans agree with you,” said Flood in response.

Flood’s decision to go to the carpet for the president’s radical law comes when the campaign arm of the Republicans of the Chamber urges the legislators of the GOP to defend the reforms of the legislation in Medicaid in the midst of the fellow attacks of the Democrats, which has often turned into the hyperbole.
“Democrats are afraid of republican efforts to strengthen Medicaid, but we cannot let them control the story”, a service note from the National Committee of the Republican Congress (NRCC), Arm Campaign of the Republicans of the Chamber, published in the States of July 28.
Despite the floods that beat his Democratic opponent with 20 percentage points last November and the Republican Penchants of the State, the GOP legislator encountered especially open questions during the town hall event. The Nebraska Democratic Party encouraged Democratic voters to present themselves to the town hall event and suggested that they should disrupt Flood’s remarks.
“Voters of # NE01, you know what to do!” The State Democratic Party wrote in an article on the social media platform X on Monday afternoon.
Groups of left -wing activists supported by George Soros, notably undivided and Moveon, have mobilized demonstrators to disturb the town hall held by republican legislators earlier this year.
The public mainly on the left heckled the floods when he explained how the tax provisions of the president’s signature bill, in particular no tip tax, an increase in children’s tax credit and a new deduction for the elderly, would benefit a wide range of its voters. They also launched cries when the Nebraska republican defended restricted the access of illegal immigrants to Medicaid, condemned outdoor policies and argued that the problem of anti -Semitism of elite universities should not be unpunished.
A particularly busy moment appeared when a woman who described her question as “fiscal” asked the flood at close range “How much does it cost for fascism?” She cited the construction of immigration holding establishments such as Alligator Alcatraz and mocked against the Trump administration providing extensive resources for immigration and customs application to execute the president’s expulsion policies. Another participant compared the installation to “Alligator Auschwitz” in a comparison of the president’s immigration application policies with the holocaust.
“How many taxpayers have to pay a fascist country?” The woman shouted in Flood without blinking, causing a standing ovation of the public.

The crowd began to become more vicious while the floods defended the country’s immigration laws. The woman sparked a guttural cry when the Nebraska republican argued that open border policies had enabled the flow of fentanyl and human trafficking to the United States on the other side of the southern border.
“The Americans voted for a secure border [in November]”Said Flood while the crowd continued to rage.” And I support the president applying our immigration laws, which, by the way, were written by the Congress. »»
Flood was again asked about the allegedly invited to fascism thanks to his support to the president of a participant who characterized the Trump administration as a “fascist machine”.
“The fascists do not hold the town halls with series of open questions and answers,” said Flood in response while continuing to answer questions from the belligerent crowd.
“It is a pity that democratic activists financed by billionaires drown real voters in town halls,” said NRCC spokesperson Mike Marinella, in a press release at the Daily Caller News Foundation. “The fact is that most Nebraskans agree with the flooding of the congress, not the crowd.”
