Forest fire households that quickly move to a California gold rush town settled around 1850 by Chinese minors who were driven from a neighboring camp and the fire grew up without confinement on Wednesday.

The fire quickly extended to 10 km2 (26 km2), forcing the evacuation on Tuesday from the city of Chinese camp and the surrounding motorways, according to Calfire, the main state fire agency. There was no immediate report of injuries or deaths.

This is one of the many fires called the TCCU lighting complex in September, which has burned more than 19 square miles (50 km2) in several places in the counties of Calaveras and Tuolumne early Wednesday without confinement.

At least five houses were burning in the rural city, which has a mixture of autonomous and mobile houses.

Outside a house on Tuesday evening, seven people quickly removed large branches of structure trees and shoven sand on the fire in a desperate attempt from preventing the fire from spreading from the house next to it. They worked for about 30 minutes until the firefighters arrived. A VR on the property was damaged by the fire.

Fire managers asked for additional resources such as firefighters, dozens and a plane.

The fire, known as the fire 6-5, was caused by lightning, according to Calfire. It is one of the more than a dozen flames that broke out on Tuesday through California, according to Calfire.

Thousands of Chinese people came to California during the gold rush and faced a persecution which included an exorbitant tax of foreign minors designed to keep them away from mining.

The Chinese camp, about 57 miles (92 km) east of Stockton, was installed by Chinese minors after chasing a neighboring camp, according to the county of Tuolumne. Originally called Camp Washington, his name was quickly changed to reflect the thousands of people from China who settled there.
